Your Opportunity

Our Ottawa office is seeking a Senior Manager to join the Domestic Tax team and take on the following responsibilities:

  • Evaluate client business processes and policies, advise on tax policy and changes to meet market needs, and develop proactive tax strategies to drive business success.
  • Apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address tax issues relevant to the client's business, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
  • Provide technical and project management leadership to team members for Domestic Tax projects or assignments, ensuring quality control standards are met.
  • Identify and develop strategies for clients to capitalize on business and tax opportunities, including tax reorganizations and corporate, trust, and estate tax returns.
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and provide effective support for engagements, delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations.
  • Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.

    What We're Looking For

    We're seeking a candidate with a strong background in public accounting, specializing in Tax, with a minimum of 7 years of experience and a CPA designation. You should have a deep understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal, and trust tax planning and compliance. You'll be a team player with strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients.
