We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Galaxy Movers Regina Ltd.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of trucks to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently. This is a permanent position with a 32-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload goods
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance and perform preventive maintenance
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
- Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Valid driver's licence
- Attention to detail
- Handling heavy loads
- Large workload
- Overtime required
- Physically demanding
- Repetitive tasks
