Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Panago #78. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees, including housing, transportation, storage, childcare, and winter clothing.
- Support for Youths: Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
- Support for Veterans: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for Veterans.
- Support for Mature Workers: Provide staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of quality and service
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Work Environment:
- 40 hours per week
- English language required
