About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker Assistant to join our team at Affordable Kitchens. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assisting in the fabrication and installation of high-quality kitchen cabinets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the fabrication of kitchen cabinets using power tools and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate production.
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Collaborate with the production team to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in cabinetmaking or a related field.
  • College or CEGEP diploma in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a noisy, dusty, and hot environment with proper safety equipment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently.
