About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless logistics operations at our North American office in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

  • You will primarily be involved in receiving and validating incoming goods by purchase order, verifying quantities and quality upon receipt.
  • Order picking, packing, and preparing goods for shipment is also a key responsibility, including accurately selecting items from inventory, packing them securely, and preparing them for delivery.
  • You will maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment and check and replenish packaging and shipping materials as needed.
  • Inventory reconciliation is another critical task, where you will verify inventory records and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Replenishing stock on a daily basis involves monitoring stock levels and restocking shelves to meet demand.

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience, to contribute to your financial growth and well-being.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in logistics or warehouse operations. Excellent communication skills in English are essential, with Dutch and Spanish being a plus. Proficiency in MS-Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint, is required.

A post-secondary education or certifications in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management is an asset. You must be certified to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks. A valid driver's license and Social Insurance Number are also necessary.

This role has seasonal influences, with extra working hours available during peak season. During the down season, logistics employees have the opportunity for continuous improvement in other departments.
