Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Installer to join our team at Zafarnama Sahib Construction INC. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all flooring installations meet the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered, marking them accurately for installation.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding to ensure a smooth and even surface.
  • Install carpeting, resilient floor coverings, and hardwood floors to the highest standards of quality and finish.
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to prevent further damage and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each installation, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Prepare floors for installation, ensuring that they are clean, dry, and free from any debris or obstructions.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.
  • Work Term: Permanent

  • Hours: 35 hours per week
