Key Responsibilities:
- Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from surfaces of metal products.
- Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to prepare them for further processing.
- Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers as needed.
- Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to ensure efficient workflow.
- Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools to achieve precise results.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- Load and unload vehicles to transport materials and products safely.
- Polish metal products to mirror finish, meeting high-quality standards.
- Read and interpret work orders to understand tasks and deadlines.

Work Experience:
The ideal candidate will have 1-7 months of experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
