Job Title: Plumbing and Water Supply Specialist

Automated Aquatics is seeking a skilled Plumbing and Water Supply Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Adjust equipment, valves, pumps, and controls and process equipment
  • Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems
Requirements:
  • Plumber Trade Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Plumber Red Seal Certificate
  • Gas Fitter Red Seal Certificate
Work Environment:

Our team works in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, and residential locations. You will be required to work in confined spaces, wet/damp environments, and at heights.
