The Crupi Group is seeking a skilled Asphalt Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our crushing and paving crew, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment at our asphalt plant, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality asphalt products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment such as loaders and ensure their proper maintenance
  • Utilize the ticket system to manage materials and supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service and interact with clients in a professional manner
  • Perform physical duties as required, including shoveling and other tasks

In addition to your technical skills, you must be able to work well in a team environment and under pressure. Basic computer skills are essential for this role, as you will be using various software systems to manage operations.

This position is primarily based at our Etobicoke location, but may require working at other sites as needed. You must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings and nights, throughout the season.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in operating heavy equipment and managing teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances

We offer a competitive hourly rate, set according to the collective agreement, and opportunities for seasonal full-time work with potential for year-round employment in winter snow removal positions.

The successful candidate will register with Local 793 and be prepared to participate in all stages of the selection process. Accommodations are available upon request.
