About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Anderson Blake Security Inc. as a Building Maintenance Worker. This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and other refuse
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Maintain inventory of supplies
  • Assist skilled tradespersons
Work Environment

This role requires working in various locations, including all weather conditions. The successful candidate must be willing to relocate and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, and reliability
Language and Work Term

The work language is English, and this is a permanent position.
