Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Specialist to join our team at Applied Industrial Flooring. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining high-quality flooring surfaces in various industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Layout and Installation: Determine the most effective layout and installation procedures for flooring projects, taking into account client requirements and site conditions.
  • Documentation: Accurately document and prepare invoices and work orders, ensuring timely and efficient payment processing.
  • Preparation and Maintenance: Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Logistics: Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and installation of materials.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
  • Tool Operation: Utilize hand and power tools, including sanders and polishers, to achieve high-quality flooring finishes.
  • Scaffolding and Platforms: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms, ensuring safe access to work areas.
  • Blueprints and Specifications: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications, ensuring accurate installation and maintenance of flooring surfaces.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
