The Medical Lead Hospitalist NRGH is a key leadership position that plays a crucial role in enhancing teamwork and facilitating continuous quality improvement of services at NRGH. This position reports to the Executive Medical Director and works closely with the Co-Leader to achieve operational excellence.
Main Responsibilities:- Leadership: Collaborate with physicians and staff to monitor and improve service delivery, and link with Division Heads and Chiefs of Staff to address matters of physician governance.
- Operations & Quality: Implement processes and structures to engage physicians and staff in continuous quality improvement, monitor team budget and performance, and make course corrections when necessary.
- Change Management: Champion change management initiatives to engage and support physicians and staff through change.
- Informatics: Lead team activities that advance technology and data use to improve service delivery using the electronic health records (EHR) in collaboration with the Quality Systems team.
- Planning: Assess, monitor, and anticipate team resource needs, and work with medical leaders and administrative leaders to prioritize these needs within available resources.
