Job Summary

The Long Distance Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting goods between Techo-Bloc's manufacturing sites, customers, and warehouse sites in Canada and the United States. The driver will ensure the delivery of concrete blocks to sites or customers, properly use electronic tools, complete documentation, and maintain safety rules at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport goods between Techo-Bloc's manufacturing sites, customers, and warehouse sites in Canada and the United States;
  • Ensure the delivery of concrete blocks to sites or customers;
  • Properly use electronic tools, such as E-Log and Keeptrucking;
  • Complete documentation accurately and on time;
  • Maintain safety rules at all times, both for loading and driving;
  • Stowage with nylon straps and wedges, no tarps;
  • Meet all regulatory requirements for cross-border transportation;
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license;
  • Minimum of three years of experience or a CTFR;
  • Excellent driving record;
  • Valid passport;
  • Vaccination passport required;
  • Functional English, ability to read and interpret documents, instructions, and to maintain a discussion, if necessary, with a customs officer.
