Polisher Job Description

WeighPack Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled Polisher to join our fabrication team. As a Polisher, you will be responsible for performing polishing duties, maintaining polishing tools, and organizing work functions related to polishing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare parts for cutting, grinding, or chipping excess metal from metal products using hand tools.
  • Prepare equipment and tools for polishing.
  • Select and prepare polish finish according to specifications and perform the final polishing.
  • Conduct maintenance on tools, equipment, and work area.
  • Read and understand drawings, sketches, and work specifications.
  • Responsible for quality control.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Team worker and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently on assignments with minimal oversight or direction.
  • The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
