Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Web Development Specialist to join our team at GS Global Security. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and integrating website-related code, determining hardware and software requirements, and developing website architecture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and integrate website-related code
  • Determine hardware and software requirements to achieve optimal server performance
  • Develop website architecture
  • Write, modify, and test website-related code
  • Prepare mock-ups and storyboards
  • Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery
  • Source, select, and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout, and flow of the website
  • Assess physical and technical security risks to data, software, and hardware
  • Create and optimize content for the website using a variety of graphics, database, animation, and other software
  • Develop policies, procedures, and contingency plans to minimize the effects of security breaches
  • Research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products
  • Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
  • Usability testing
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
