Job Title: Transport Refrigeration Technician/Reefer Mechanic

Thermo King Eastern Canada is seeking a skilled Transport Refrigeration Technician/Reefer Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing components on truck and trailer refrigeration units.

Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration units, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
  • Use diagnostic equipment, such as scanners and electronic test equipment, to identify and repair issues.
  • Work with refrigeration equipment, including compressors, condensers, and evaporators.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in transport refrigeration or a related field.
  • Mechanical/HVAC background and/or experience required.
  • Ozone Depletion Certificate preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Tools with Tool Storage.
