Job Summary
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join their Assertive Community Treatment team in the Vancouver Community Mental Health Service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to clients with serious mental health conditions and substance use concerns.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote client recovery and well-being.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of occupational therapy services.
Qualifications
- Current full registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC).
- Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT).
- Two (2) years' recent, related clinical experience in a complex health care environment.
- Valid driver's license.
