About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Daycare Teacher to join our team at Centre de la Petite Enfance Mamik. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Planning and Implementation
    • Develop and implement engaging and educational programs that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in children.
    • Plan and prepare activities, lessons, and materials that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Child Care and Supervision
    • Provide high-quality care and supervision to children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being at all times.
    • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and collaborative working environment.
    • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress, including observations, assessments, and reports.
    • Prepare and submit reports to parents and management as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Qualifications
    • Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a daycare or early childhood education setting.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications and Clearances
    • Criminal record check and vulnerable sector screening.
