About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at 12658186 Canada INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the framing and installation of wood structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-construction preparation: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Woodworking and assembly: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials to create sturdy and durable structures.
  • Site management: Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites, ensuring timely completion of projects and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Maintenance and repair: Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including commercial and residential properties.
Requirements
  • Education and experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant work experience in the construction industry.
  • Work setting: Ability to work in various locations, including construction sites, and adapt to changing work environments.
  • Physical demands: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Work conditions: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
