The Sylvia Fedoruk Canadian Centre for Nuclear Innovation is seeking a visionary leader to serve as its Executive Director. As the global face of the organization, the successful candidate will be responsible for executing the Centre's business strategy and representing the organization to the public and its founding stakeholders. The Executive Director will facilitate dialogue between universities, colleges, and the Board to develop new opportunities for collaboration, including the creation of Chairs in topics related to nuclear science and technology. Key responsibilities include ensuring the safe and sustainable operation of the Saskatchewan Cyclotron Facility, supporting innovation in radiochemistry, imaging, therapeutics, and applications to life sciences, and making funding decisions to support research projects based in Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of executive leadership and a deep understanding of nuclear science and technology. A Doctoral degree in a relevant field is preferred, but a Master's degree with significant experience in the field will also be considered. The successful candidate must demonstrate the experience and expertise to lead a unique organization that enables the people of Saskatchewan to work at the forefront of nuclear innovation. A track record of successful revenue-generation will be considered an asset. Canadian citizens and permanent residents will be given priority. The Centre is located in Saskatoon, a friendly and growing city with a worldwide reputation for affordability and hospitality.
