Geophysical Technician

At multiVIEW Locates Inc., we specialize in utility data collection, mapping, and management services across Ontario since 1989. As a professional engineering and geophysics firm, we apply geophysical techniques and technologies to capture, interpret, and present subsurface information, helping customers manage utility-related risks and complete projects successfully.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ground-penetrating radar surveys and other geophysical field surveys
- Collect and analyze data in various geophysical techniques, including electrical resistivity and conductivity, and electromagnetics
- Manage field data collection strategies and oversee data analysis, storage, and interpretation
- Prepare final reports for clients, summarizing analyses and responding to queries
- Identify hardware and software issues and collaborate with the equipment applications team for product development
- Sc. in Geophysics, Geotechnical Engineering, or Geoscience
- Licensed to practice as a geoscientist (P. Geo) in Ontario (an asset)
- 3-5 years of experience with geophysical techniques
- Self-organizing and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and team skills
