About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Associate to join our team at Syrus Enterprises Ltd. as a key member of our sales and customer service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems to ensure accurate stock levels and efficient inventory management.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, discussing merchandise, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Advertise and promote products, sales, or services to customers, and maintain sales records for inventory control.
  • Training and Development: Will train and develop skills to provide on-the-job training tailored to youth, and offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Recruits newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster, and applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate and relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Hours of Work: 30 to 35 hours per week.
