As a Senior Technician with Paladin Technologies, you will play a critical role in the installation and maintenance of electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the seamless operation of these systems, and your ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues will be key to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:- Install and service electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarms
- Pre-wire, install, program, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain security systems
- Develop and execute Acceptance Testing Plans that meet contract and client requirements
- Collaborate with clients and prospects to identify and address their security needs
- Provide training and support to clients on the proper use and maintenance of security systems
- Conduct site visits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to meet client needs
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in security technology
- 5-8 years of experience in a technical role within the integrated security industry
- Post-secondary training in electronics or equivalent is considered an asset
- Vendor certification in low-voltage systems is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
- Ability to use hand and specialty tools associated with the industry
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
