Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing field investigation programs to collect and analyze field data.
  • Overseeing and providing technical guidance on borehole logging, installation, and maintenance of groundwater wells.
  • Communicating and coordinating with clients and contractors to ensure project success.
  • Pursuing continuous professional development to maintain high levels of discipline knowledge and awareness.
Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and implementing field investigation programs.
  • Collecting and analyzing field data.
  • Communicating with clients and contractors.
  • Providing technical guidance on borehole logging, installation, and maintenance of groundwater wells.
  • Maintaining high levels of discipline knowledge and awareness.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • 15+ years of hydrogeology-related experience.
  • Consulting experience preferred.
  • Professional registration with Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientist of Alberta (APEGA), or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with provincial regulations, combined with a willingness and aptitude for project management and business development.
  • Strong work experience on field-based investigations in physical hydrogeology, groundwater supply, and hydrogeological assessments.
