About the Role

Aritzia is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Data & Analytics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing complex data models, embedding business logic, and designing data structures to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex data models to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed business logic and ensure data consistency
  • Design and recommend data structures and flows to support business needs
  • Review and approve model changes and serve as technical owner for specific data sub-domains
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines in Google Cloud Platform and Dataform
  • Contribute to and leverage best practices and standards of analytics engineering

Requirements

  • Proven skills and education in data modeling, business intelligence, and analytics engineering
  • Excellent SQL skills with ability to create efficient and tuned data models
  • Strong business modeling skills with ability to translate business requirements into data models
  • Experience with modern cloud data platforms such as GCP, MS, and AWS
  • SAP HANA data environment experience is a plus
  • Ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners and stakeholders
  • Commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Business and People Leadership principles
