Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 people, including painters, decorators, and labourers.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Set up machines and equipment, and estimate costs and materials.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, and recommend personnel actions as needed.
  • Read blueprints and drawings, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a noisy environment, with a focus on construction, commercial, and residential projects.
