Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapist is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services to clients. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with clients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address clients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, caregivers, and family members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide education and training to clients and their support networks on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree or recognized equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registered and in good standing with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • Experience with in-home assessments and treatments; knowledge of auto insurance and the legal system, particularly medical/legal report writing, is an asset.
