As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our heavy machinery fleet. Your expertise in diagnosing and repairing equipment defects will be essential to maintaining productivity and safety on our work sites.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnoses of equipment malfunctions using specialized tools and techniques.
- Perform repairs and replacements of parts on a wide range of heavy equipment, including engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members on complex mechanical issues.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Offer mobile repair services as needed, responding promptly to breakdowns and emergencies.
Requirements:
- A recognized Diploma in Heavy Equipment Mechanics or equivalent qualification.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working with diesel engines and heavy machinery.
- A valid Class 5 driver's license.
