Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Tour Guide to join our team as a Chief Experience Officer (CEO). As a CEO, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, providing leadership and guidance to our travelers, and creating unique and unforgettable experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and traveller well-being.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to our travellers, ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
  • Stay up-to-date on local knowledge, culture, and current events to provide valuable insights to our travellers.
  • Develop and maintain a network of local contacts and resources to enhance the travel experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Act as a day-to-day guide, interpreter, and manager of the group, dealing with traveller issues and concerns.
  • Maintain the established travel itinerary, making adjustments as necessary.
  • Make reservations for accommodation, transportation, and activities, and assist with optional activities and meals.
  • Provide a report for each trip, in the requested format, and keep the Trip notes updated.
  • Train new Leaders as required, passing on trip-related information.
Requirements
  • Be based in Oman.
  • Hold a valid Guiding License and First Aid/CPR Certification.
  • Have a genuine passion for adventure travel and a love for vibrant, exciting destinations.
  • Speak fluent English and have a good command of the region-specific language.
  • Exhibit excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
  • Be committed to sustainable tourism and environmentally responsible practices.
  • Have good health and a high energy level, with the ability to handle long and tiring days.
  • Hold First Aid/CPR Certification and be prepared to act in case of emergency.
  • Be able to transport yourself to the training location.
  • Have experience working with budgets or developing a personal budget.
  • Be computer literate, with a working knowledge of the Internet, email, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
