Warehouse Associate Job Description

Nedco, a leading electrical industry supplier, is seeking a skilled Warehouse Associate to join their team in Nanaimo. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient processing of orders, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and pack orders for electrical parts and products with precision and accuracy.
  • Process and prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and shipping invoices.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments and update inventory levels in the AS400 computer system.
  • Process returns and re-enter inventory into the system according to established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to Health & Safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering phone calls and assisting customers at the counter as needed.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year of warehouse experience.
  • Strong mathematical and data entry skills.
  • Proficiency in a computerized environment, including AS400 and Windows.
  • Electrical distribution/product knowledge is essential.
