About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead our Strategic Operations team at Highlight Motor Freight Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and implementing organizational policies, and overseeing the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement organizational strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Leadership Development: Select, develop, and motivate senior staff to achieve business objectives.
  • Financial Management: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning.
  • Communication: Represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions, and delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the work of regions, divisions, or departments, and establish objectives for the organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work Setting: Transportation, communication, and utilities
  • Budgetary Responsibility: $1,500,001 - $4,000,000
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Office, MS Windows
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, large workload
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, interpersonal awareness, team player
