We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Sunrise Freight Systems Inc. as a Heavy Duty Truck Mechanic. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our fleet of trucks and trailers.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot and Inspect Equipment
You will be responsible for identifying and diagnosing faults and malfunctions in our equipment, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
Repair and Maintain EquipmentYou will be responsible for adjusting and repairing or replacing defective parts, and testing repaired equipment to ensure that it meets manufacturers' specifications.
Clean and Maintain EquipmentYou will be responsible for cleaning, lubricating, and performing other maintenance work on our equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
Requirements- Education
No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
Experience1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
LanguageEnglish is the primary language spoken in this role.
Work Hours40 to 50 hours per week is the typical work schedule for this role.
