Job Title: Landscape Gardener

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Gardener to join our team at M&D Building Maintenance. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for managing landscaping projects, maintaining private and public lawns and gardens, and ensuring the overall health and appearance of our outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage landscaping projects from planning to completion
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens to ensure optimal growth and health
  • Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products as needed
  • Assess the health of lawns and identify areas for improvement
  • Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental purposes, and other uses
  • Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens, including trees and other vegetation
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
Working Conditions:
  • Physically demanding work in outdoor environments
  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
