Job Summary

MUFG Investor Services is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Associate Director to join our team. As a key member of our Third Party Management function, you will be responsible for maintaining and implementing our Third Party Management governance framework.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of our Third Party Management governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and ongoing review of its effectiveness in identifying, reducing, controlling, and reporting key Third Party Management risks.
  2. Collaborate with Compliance, Operational Risk, and internal/external audit teams to meet group and regulatory requirements.
  3. Act as a point of contact for Third Party Management related queries, providing guidance and training to internal clients and stakeholders.
  4. Oversee the performance of ongoing monitoring and periodic reviews of Third Party engagements, including on-site inspections and assessments of proposed new engagements.
  5. Identify Third Party Management issues and risk trends, agreeing remedial action and implementing best practice where possible.
  6. Assist in maintaining group records of Third Party Providers and Outsourcing Registers, drafting and distributing documentation for assessments, monitoring, and reviews.
  7. Continuously look to automate and develop Third Party Management processes for efficient completion.
  8. Report to the Outsourcing and Risk Committees, the Boards of all outsourced service receivers, and MUFG Investor Services on the Third Party Management governance framework.
  9. Prepare and deliver Client due diligence presentations as directed, participating in client due diligence, RFPs, or external third-party provider assessments as required.
  10. Manage, support, and train other members of the Third Party Management team as necessary.

Requirements

  1. Primary level degree in law, business, finance, or a relevant professional qualification.
  2. Prior experience in in-house legal practice, Third Party Management, risk, or compliance.
  3. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerBi, and other data analysis tools an asset.
