About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team at Reliance Home Comfort. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and repair HVAC equipment, including water heaters and HVAC systems, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
  • Ensure the safe operation of all new installations and provide clear instructions to customers on proper care and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, offering additional products and services as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing skills training and professional development programs to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and techniques.

Requirements

  • A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • A valid Gas Technician II license.
  • A certificate of qualification (C of Q) as an Air Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario – 313d).
  • A valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card.
  • A Class G Driver's License.
  • 3-5 years of field experience in service of water heaters and HVAC equipment, an asset.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and standby duties as required.
  • Physical ability to perform all work required of this position, including occasional lifting of 15 kg up to shoulder height.
