About the Role
The Agricultural and Commercial Credit Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing the profitability and quality of our credit portfolio in Manitoba's western region. This position involves providing essential lending support to our Commercial & Agricultural Account Managers. Key responsibilities include assisting with the renewal of credit applications, preparing necessary documentation, conducting follow-ups, addressing inquiries, and performing various assigned tasks. Additionally, the analyst will manage reporting and internal control processes.
Qualifications:
- Experience in financial services, particularly in credit roles at a cooperative, credit union, or banking institution is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of financial products, legal documentation, operational procedures, monitoring systems, and commercial credit policies.
- Ability to interpret financial statements is beneficial.
- Capability to perform preliminary financial assessments for credit applications and assist in annual review preparations.
- Exhibits initiative along with excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluency in written and spoken French is a plus but not mandatory.
