Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Patrol Maintenance Technician to join our team at Webber Infrastructure Management Canada Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of our roadways and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on roadways, including snow removal, salting, and sanding.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment, including snowplows, graders, and other heavy machinery.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules.
  • Provide leadership and training to junior staff members, including safety procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct regular inspections of roadways and assets to identify potential issues and develop solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including property owners, the public, and other government agencies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; minimum three years' experience in construction, road maintenance, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid Ontario Class "DZ" Driver's License and MTO Operator's Permit required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat. The successful candidate must be able to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
