About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Barber to join our team at Mario's Barber Shop. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality haircuts and styling services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Style Hair: Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences, using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Shampoo and Condition: Shampoo customers' hair, using a gentle and effective shampoo and conditioner.
  • Beard and Mustache Services: Shave and trim beards and mustaches, using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Hair Treatment Services: Provide other hair treatment services, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, as well as scalp conditioning massages.
  • Supervision and Training: Supervise apprentices or students in training, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills.
  • Supply Management: Maintain and order supplies, ensuring that the shop is well-stocked and equipped to meet customer needs.
Work Environment

As a Barber at Mario's Barber Shop, you will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will be required to stand for extended periods, and may be exposed to loud noises and strong chemicals.

Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
