Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Obstetrics team at Headwaters Health Care Centre. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to women and their families during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to women and their families in the Obstetrics department
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Conduct fetal health surveillance and provide education to patients and families
- Participate in labour and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Current certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Recent experience in obstetrics, including labour and delivery
- Fetal Health Surveillance in Labour Program completed within the last 2 years
- Maternal Newborn Nursing Certificate complete or in progress (preferred)
- Breastfeeding course (20 hour INFACT/WHO completed or in progress)
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation certification
- Current STABLE certification (preferred)
