About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Foreperson to join our team at Modern Niagara. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating personnel, identifying and implementing productivity initiatives, and working collaboratively with all divisions to identify and participate in opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and engage personnel to achieve operational excellence
  • Identify and implement productivity initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with all divisions to identify and participate in opportunities
  • Maintain a high customer service level
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Take inventory of tools, materials, and equipment, requisition supplies
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

  • Holder of relevant Journeyperson certificate across the piping trades
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent organizational and decision-making/problem-solving skills
  • Ability to analyze and understand construction drawings, associated documentation, cost coding systems, and work breakdown structures
  • Customer-focused and resourceful
  • Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles and ability to effectively plan, assign, and inspect the work of subordinates
  • Previous safety training and/or leadership training is an asset
  • Skill in the use of the tools and equipment of the trade
