Position Overview: We are in search of a dynamic Program Coordinator for our Project Management Office (PMO) who possesses exceptional leadership and organizational skills. This individual will play a crucial role in addressing the opportunities and challenges presented by our expanding operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage diverse Business Initiatives and IT projects within the organization, fostering relationships between Technology, Business leaders, and external partners.
  • Take charge of the daily operations of the PMO and manage project intake requests.
  • Plan, coordinate, monitor, and implement both technical and non-technical business programs to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Establish and refine project/program management best practices, processes, and policies to ensure alignment with corporate strategies.
  • Lead transformation initiatives such as upgrades to Customer Information Systems (CIS) and Meter Data Management (MDM), as well as other strategic multi-year projects.
  • Collaborate closely with hybrid teams (Agile/Waterfall) to support project activities and sprint efforts.
  • Maintain the efficiency of critical project management processes including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, and execution.
  • Assist analysts, specialists, and external resources to ensure all PMO projects are delivered within defined scope, quality, time, and cost parameters.
  • Coordinate various requests with IT infrastructure, capturing requirements and managing projects while providing visibility into tasks and reporting status.
  • Identify project team members and clarify their roles and responsibilities.
  • Standardize organizational processes to enhance efficiency in project and initiative intake.
  • Monitor project performance to analyze the successful achievement of both short-term and long-term goals.

Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is considered an asset.
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven project management experience.
  • A University Degree from a recognized institution or an equivalent formal educational program in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Project.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of project management standards, processes, and guidelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, teamwork, conflict management, and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management.
  • Experience in managing or delivering IT projects within outsourced and managed services environments.
