Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Ottawa Transport. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across various routes, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials across various routes
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, adhering to schedules and deadlines
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Valid passport
  • Driver's validity license check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug test
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Working Conditions

This is an on-the-road job, requiring frequent travel and overnight stays. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
