On-Demand Shuttle Driver - Part-Time/Casual Opportunities

Location: Edmonton, AB

CB Canada is looking for part-time and casual On-Demand Shuttle Drivers to support our operations. The On-Demand Shuttle initiative is designed to provide transportation for residents in selected areas to transit hubs and LRT stations. Shuttle Drivers are tasked with the safe transport of passengers while ensuring excellent customer service and showcasing strong communication skills, patience, maturity, and initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport passengers in accordance with established guidelines
  • Utilize On-Demand software through an onboard tablet, which delivers real-time instructions
  • Maintain communication with the base via radio, adhering to proper protocols
  • Drive shuttle vehicles safely under various weather and road conditions
  • Assist and provide information to passengers in a friendly manner
  • Effectively manage passenger behavior and resolve issues promptly
  • Report any vehicle maintenance needs, passenger emergencies, and scheduling concerns
  • Conduct thorough pre-and-post trip inspections of vehicles
  • Complete necessary paperwork as required

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a valid Class 4 driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Clear criminal background and vulnerable sector verification
  • Negative results from drug and alcohol testing
  • Strong familiarity with Edmonton's roadways
  • Physical capability to assist passengers with mobility devices
  • Reliable, organized, and punctual
  • Exhibit a calm, positive, and helpful demeanor
  • Demonstrate excellent driving skills and habits
