We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Jagminder Sran Truck & Trailer Repair as a Welder Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our metal workers in various tasks related to metal cleaning and preparation.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Metal Cleaning Equipment: Safely operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
- Cleaning Solutions: Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to ensure thorough cleaning.
- Assist Metal Workers: Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers as needed.
- Material Handling: Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Logistics: Load and unload vehicles as required.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
