Job Description

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a skilled Mobile Automation Tester to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in daily standup meetings and sprint planning to ensure test execution aligns with project goals
  • Develop and execute test strategies, including test device matrices, to ensure comprehensive testing
  • Validate client-side and server-side error messages, requests, and responses using Charles Proxy
  • Collaborate with the development team to identify and document software defects
  • Develop and maintain databases of known test defects
  • Plan test schedules and strategies to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of hands-on testing experience with native iOS and Android mobile apps
  • 4+ years of front-end UI experience with digital trading platforms
  • Experience in Wealth Management Domain, specifically in Trading
  • Experience with order management and trading applications in the equity brokerage space

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • 2-3 years of automation testing experience
  • Native accessibility testing using JAWS Screen Reader and Screen Magnifying tools
  • Experience testing on web apps
  • Recent relevant Banking Industry Experience
  • French testing experience

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with stakeholders
  • Ability to manage tasks and expectations without direct instruction
  • Fast learner who can adapt quickly
  • Ability to work well under pressure while demonstrating professionalism

Education:

  • Associate degree in a technical field, such as computer science or computer engineering
  • ISTQB certification an asset
