Senior Architectural Technologist

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technologist to join our Western Canada Transportation practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing specific aspects of transportation projects using Alternative Delivery procurement models.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage transportation projects using Alternative Delivery procurement models, including P3, Design-Build, Progressive-Design-Build, CM@R, and Alliance models.
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams for large and complex transportation projects, including Transit, Airports, and other.
- Coordinate with project teams, project controls, quality managers, and business leaders to deliver projects.
- Develop scopes of work, establish organization charts, and build teams.
- Estimate levels of effort and budgeting, assign work, review deliverables, and coordinate between disciplines.
- Lead technical aspects of projects, including technical design, details, coordination with specifications, and review of specifications.
- Contribute to capturing new work, including contributing to proposals, participating in client presentations, and meeting clients for business development.
- Attend and manage meetings (internal and external).
- Support AECOM's ISO quality process and adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree + 6 years of relevant experience in project coordination, technical design on large infrastructure and transit projects (including Alternative Delivery) OR Technical Diploma + 8 years of relevant experience.
- Ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in project coordination, technical design on multiple large infrastructure and transit projects (including Alternative Delivery).
- P.Eng or Registered Architect in at least one Canadian Province.
- Eligible for P.Eng in BC or registration with AIBC.
- Experience working with Transportation clients in BC.
- Experience managing aspects of complex projects and engaging directly with clients.
