We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Equipment Delivery and Operations Specialist.

This role involves delivering and picking up equipment, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service.

As an Equipment Delivery and Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Loading and unloading equipment, securing it for transport, and inspecting it as needed.
  • Delivering and picking up equipment, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Maintaining accurate delivery and pickup records, including customer signatures.
  • Informing supervisors of any difficulties with deliveries or pickups.
  • Identifying new sales opportunities and job sites, and informing management accordingly.
  • Double-checking delivered items to ensure customers receive exactly what they ordered.
  • Notifying the Rental Coordinator or branch if behind schedule, so customers can be contacted.
  • Instructing customers on equipment operation.
  • Reporting any missing or broken equipment, and tagging and moving it to the repair area.
  • Performing daily vehicle inspections, checking gas, oil, and fluid levels.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Class G driver's license with a clean or satisfactory driver's abstract (no more than three demerit points).
  • Familiarity with local roads.
  • Experience moving heavy oversize loads is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Availability to work overtime when required.
