Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Optical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Lens & Frames Optical Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and dismantling equipment, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and performing general clerical duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and dismantle equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Clean and maintain equipment to prevent damage and ensure accuracy
  • Collect and analyze statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and productivity
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked inventory
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate tracking and reporting
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in an optical laboratory setting
  • Equivalent experience in a related field
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ability to work accurately and efficiently in a team environment is essential.

Preferred Qualifications
  • MS Excel and MS Word skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
