Located within the Powell Service Division, the Project Engineer will engage with various teams and clients to facilitate substantial and intricate projects. This role requires delivering technical expertise and direction to guarantee exceptional project delivery.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist in the strategic planning of large-scale and complex projects
- Deliver technical insights regarding power systems and distribution apparatus
- Examine supplier technical documentation and create tailored Quality Control plans
- Provide counsel on engineering submissions, project modifications, and technical challenges
- Engage in project review discussions and spearhead deviation requests
- Work collaboratively with teams, mentor peers, and contribute to the engineering sector
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 15 years of pertinent experience
- Registered with APEGA
- Familiarity with codes and standards pertinent to switchgear, MCC, and architectural design
Skills & Competencies
Work Environment
Office environment with climate control and occasional travel requirements. This role necessitates physical dexterity and the capability to travel on short notice.
Physical Demands
Involves standing, walking, bending, and repetitive hand movements. Candidates must possess good perception and agility to mitigate fall risks.
