Battery Assembler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Battery Assembler to join our team at Canadian Battery Store Limited.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery to assemble, test, and package dry cell batteries efficiently.
  • Position lead acid storage batteries on the assembly line with precision.
  • Repair or replace faulty equipment and apparatus to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor systems and equipment to ensure they are operating efficiently and perform regular maintenance and repairs.
  • Verify the proper operation of ultrasound equipment.
  • Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 35 hours of work per week.
  • English is the primary language of communication in this role.
About the Job:

This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, testing, and packaging dry cell batteries, as well as performing routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
